About Food

Paul & Marilyn and the Nepewassi gang will be providing sausages, chicken wings, and cake. There will also be wine for dinner.

If you live locally and don’t have to travel to get here, we’d love if you could bring a potluck contribution for afternoon finger food or evening dinner sides.

This is a strategic potluck, though! See the sign-up sheet to let us know what you’ll be bringing:

About the Program

This Extravangaza features an after-dinner program of songs and stories! (Of course it does.) As you know, the Reimer family is very strict about time, so this program will run for 1.5 hours only and WILL NOT GO OVER. (You don’t detect any sarcasm, do you?)

We have a limited number of slots available to sign up to contribute to the program. The Paul and Marilyn Reimer Family have already taken a third of them. (Of course they have.) But we DO want to hear from YOU!

If you have a song to sing, a poem to recite, a skit to perform, or a story to share, race over to the sign-up sheet RIGHT NOW before everyone else beats you to it:

FAQs

I have questions about the food! (Or, I can’t figure out your fancy potluck spreadsheet.) Who do I talk to?

That would be our meal coordinator, John Reimer. You can text him at (249) 878-8002‬.

Can I bring my tent and stay overnight?

You sure can. Tenting space is abundant.

I’m lost on the back roads trying to find you! Where is this place??

Check out this map for help. GPS doesn’t always get it right, but it will be able to get you at least as far as Pothier Rd. Once you reach Pothier:

-Drive for 6 km.
-Turn right onto Carpenter Rd. & drive for 0.3 km.
-Turn right onto Marsim Ct. & drive for 0.3 km.
-Turn left, following the Reimer and moose crossing signs.

You can drive down toward the lake to unload chairs, food, and people, and you’ll be directed where to park from there.

For emergency help with directions on the day, call Ben Bast at (249) 878-2850.

In case your GPS steers you wrong.
